A Spot of Tea in the Garden Party at Duke Mansion

“This shoot was a celebration of all things spring and the desire of designer Jamie Barker of Poppy Whitaker gifting her daughter a Garden Tea Party to celebrate her upcoming birthday, her cast coming off, and of course the brand’s Tea Party themed spring release.

When helping Jamie and The Duke Mansion bring all of these ideas together, we knew that the clothing would be the pops of color (and the central focus) along with the girls’ adorable factor being the whimsy, and the treats and tablescape being the classical element.

The location tricks the mind to believe that this backdrop is not right in our own ‘backyards’ but possibly elsewhere – an English countryside maybe. We wanted as much greenery as possible so that the inspiration would take us from spring into summer.

We were inspired by a fresh, classical design that would speak to mothers, children, and party planners. Each piece of this styled shoot was carefully created and curated to not only complement the overall vision, but to bring about a light atmosphere that would be ideal for any spring or summer event.”
