Awaited Son

My son, my love I dream of you,
A miracle in a womb of darkness,
the hiding place, you cling to,
Come, your father and I wait patiently.
For a glimpse, the wait is worth it,
Day break, sun down, stars glimmer,
Each day passes woven as if each were knit,
Time is a pursuer, and is given to you.
As the snow melts, the earth begins to flower
We watch, we wait, a kings high tower.
