Nancy Hedtke of Family Tides Photography brings us a beautiful Sweet Sixteen portrait session, and here’s what she had to say about the lovely event…
“Katherine turned Sweet Sixteen at about the time her family finished a two-year project of lovingly restoring a beautiful equestrian estate, called HollyOaks, along the Grove River in Savannah, GA. The estate, with its historic manor home and garden spaces, will be used as a private wedding and event venue.
To celebrate her birthday, Kate and her beautiful Appendix Quarter Horse mare, Sadie, enjoyed a princess inspired photography shoot on the estate grounds. Katherine wore several beautiful gowns, but the most special was the antique cream and mint green Cotillion dress.
The delicate florals by Enchanting Flora and the blue dress by Ivory and Beau Bridal were combined with greenery collected from the historic gardens, and her hair and makeup was expertly applied by Southern Belle by Maria Noël.”
