A Spring Fairytale Wedding at the Gadsden House in Charleston, South Carolina

Austin and Michelle were married in Charleston, SC at the Gadsden House on a beautiful spring day! Here’s some of the details about their wedding…

The Dress

A sheer illusion lace bodice with a plunging neckline from MB Bride & Special Occasion.

The Florals

Pretty spring flowers with lots of colors ranging from soft pinks to oranges and everything in between from Out of the Garden.

The Wedding Party

The bridesmaids were lovely in soft yellow dresses with mismatched styles, and the groomsmen were dashing in royal blue tuxes.

The Ceremony

The wedding was held in the courtyard of the Gadsden House in Downtown Charleston with balmy ferns lining the aisles and sparkling lights overhead.

The Reception

The celebration was in a clear tent where they danced under the stars! The tables were lined with teal and floral linens with pops of colorful floral arrangements and vintage glassware. The effect was simply charming!

The Cake

A 3 tiered cake with splashes of paint strokes and flecks of gold. Butterflies danced along the side among a trail of beautiful flowers.

Special Moments

Squeals of glee could be heard from Michelle’s bridesmaids when they saw her in her gown for the first time.

A ladybug accompanied the bride on her bouquet from the time it entered the dressing room until the end of the ceremony!

The bride and groom shared a secret handshake before their hand-fasting ceremony and at the end of the night, they were sent off with a sparkler exit in a Rolls Royce!
