A Sage and White Fairytale Wedding in the Fall

Olive and Oath captured the beautiful, fairytale wedding of Alexis and Chandler, a day that almost didn’t happen due to wildfires in California!

And we love how Reagan of Olive and Oath tells their story! Here’s what she had to say…

“Lexi and Chandler were middle school sweethearts and had planned to tie the knot in the beautiful city of Oak Glen, California just as the leaves were turning in October. They had their venue chosen and their details carefully decided when the El Dorado fire ravaged the hills of Wildwood Canyon only two months prior. Chandler, being a SoCal fireman, was pulled onto the front lines fighting the very fires that were threatening their dream day. As October came creeping in and Chandler was off fighting more fires further north, Lexi received a call from their venue only three weeks prior to their date, saying the fire had wiped out the view. Their wedding was being cancelled.

Lexi and Chandler had walked through much harder things in the 11 years they’d been together. She was determined to make this happen. She went to work trying to find an alternative venue and vendors to cover all the missing pieces. Little did she know, a family only a few miles from their original venue had their ranch saved by Chandler and the rest of his fire squad the year prior. This sweet couple opened up their beautiful, multi-acre ranch in Oak Glen to Lexi and Chandler as a way to say thank you for protecting their animals and property the years to prior.

What a serendipitous change this turned out to be. Complete with dressed up alpacas, Lexi and Chandler had the fairytale wedding of their dreams tucked away at this private Oak Glen ranch.”
