It was everything lovely and something like a dream on Colleen and Shannon’s wedding day at the Historic Airlie Gardens in Virginia. Colleen made an absolutely stunning bride in her Lazaro gown, and as she stood looking out over the balcony before the ceremony, one could not help but think of a princess! She held an elegant bouquet from Growing Wild Floral Company inspired by her childhood in Australia, and her bridesmaids were absolutely ravishing in sparkling cranberry gowns. The men enjoyed skeet shooting on the property before the day began, and when it was time for the ceremony, Shannon wore his father’s top hat from his father’s own wedding. A flower girl with hair like Rapunzel from Tangled walked down the aisle just before the bride, and when Shannon saw Colleen for the first time, he could not hold back the happy tears. They exchanged vows and and became husband and wife, and then ventured off into the beautiful scenery with landscaping and architecture that looked like something made for royalty! Favored by Yodit planned the event with everything coming together so magnificently at the reception! The tables were adorned with burgundy and pink floral arrangements and the guests enjoyed a delicious cake by Eloise’s Pastries. The bride and groom danced under glittering lights in a moment of magic they will never forget, and the real story of their day could not be told any better than in these breathtaking images from Delaney Dobson Photography…
