Jae and Alex wanted a blend of modern and traditional for their fairytale day, and they were able to accomplish just that with a first look on the rooftop of the Westin Austin, and a ceremony at the magnificent St. Mary’s Cathedral! Nikk Nguyen Photo followed them around the city capturing some amazing shots of them in Downtown Austin, then they ventured off to the reception at Trinity Hall! Since it was a January wedding, they chose colors that reflected the season, without being too overtly winter-themed. For the reception, they included things that showed their interests as a couple, such as guitar picks with their engagement photo, music during the cocktail hour that played movie soundtracks, and a wedding cake topper that consisted of two Star Wars storm troopers on a cake by Sweet Treets Bakery!
