A Disney Princess Inspired Wedding at the Silverthorne Pavilion in Colorado

Crystaline Photography & Video had the honor of capturing Amanda and Alec’s wedding, and we love what photographer Jamie had to say about their special day…

“Alec and Amanda chose a wintery wonderland in the mountains of Colorado to host their event complete with many enchanted details! Amanda loves Disney princesses so much that she even acts as different ones for children’s parties as a part time job. She loves singing and dancing just as much as any Disney fan could and wanted to incorporate this theme into her big day! Some of the children Amanda also gives singing lessons to were included in their wedding party, and lead a sing along during the ceremony of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John.

Each and every reception table had its very own corresponding princess name complete with an individual rose in the color scheme of the famous Disney princess under a glass dome. The head table of course was “Cinderella,” complementing the look of the bride and her prince.

The bride’s own brother provided DJ and MC services for the event and was a performer in his own right, providing fun games to entertain all of the children present as well as leading fun dances and Disney trivia, allowing tables with the correct answers to be released for dinner.

The night was full of music, dancing, and performances from multiple friends and family. The couple chose this venue not only for it’s beauty, but because of the stage for all of the acts. During the cocktail hour, the bridesmaids wore smocks to cover their dresses and made “mocktails” which were non-alcoholic beverages with fun Disney inspired names. A hosted bar opened shortly before dinner started for the more mature guests. It was truly a one of a kind event and something guests will be talking about for years to come with non-stop entertainment!”
