A Classic Tea Party Bridal Shower at the George Washington Hotel

Kristina’s bridal shower was held at the historic George Washington Hotel in Washington, Pennsylvania. The theme was planned around a little porcelain tea pot with light blue flowers that she and her two older sisters used to have tea parties with!

The decor was also a wonderful family collaboration! The mother of the bride collected tea pots for months to use as centerpieces, and the florals were ordered from Blumengarten Florists and arranged by the bride’s sister and grandmother. The desserts were all homemade by the bride’s mother, sisters, aunt and groom’s mother with several types of mini cupcakes, homemade french macaroons, chocolate covered pretzels, and chocolate dipped shortbread cookies in the shape of teabags and a trifle. The bride’s sister also designed all of the invitations, thank you cards, the welcome sign, and tags through Vista Print and Staples.
