Cinderella Elegance – A Fairytale Wedding Inspiration at Reid Farm in North Carolina

Brianna of Flashpoint Photography brings us an amazing vision of a Cinderella Inspired wedding! Here’s what she had to say about the event…

“When you think of a fairytale wedding, the one you have always dreamed of after watching every Disney Princess movie ever, what comes to mind? For me it is ALWAYS Cinderella in her large ballgown, all of the magic, and of course, the gorgeous horse and pumpkin carriage.

I wanted to take my fairytale wedding and make it a reality, so here is my Cinderella Elegance. I went with the dusty blue color scheme with spots of gold and blush. I tried to find the most perfect gold pieces to make a statement, and Signature Wedding & Event Rentals had what I needed! We used a bunch of gold lanterns, gold candle holders in many different shapes and sizes and to top it off, I added white pumpkins, Cinderella pumpkins, and I spray painted some pumpkins gold! This really tied my Cinderella theme together.

As for the bride and groom, I wanted a fun couple that would match my vision and I think Bri fit my Cinderella perfectly and she wore that gorgeous ballgown flawlessly! I had to top off the ballgown with a statement piece of a tiara, both the gown and the tiara were from Lasting Impressions Bridal Shop in Lexington, NC. The groom wore a grey fitted tuxedo matched with grey dress shoes and a blue bow tie from Bruce’s Tuxedo which is also located in Lexington, NC.

Reid Farm gave me so many amazing options with the most picture perfect spots. I was able to let my creativity shine at this 300+ acre farm with a huge pond and so many special features including a lodge and multiple cabins! I was also able to have a very special guest attend this shoot, Otto.

Otto is an 8 year old Black Friesian stallion that I am obsessed with, he is naturally so gorgeous! Otto took part in some portraits with the bride and groom during the shoot! To tie Otto in, I asked Side Bar Trailer Co to join us for the event. They are a mobile bar and it is a sweet little horse trailer that is so unique and classy!

The many florals were made possible by Becky with Denton Florist and the cake was made by Laramie with Laramie’s Cakery. I told these two ladies what my vision was and I let them be creative and surprise me with their art!

I am so thankful I had so many amazing vendors that took part in putting this together to showcase this brand new wedding venue!”
