Ashley had always dreamed of getting married in a castle, and The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, known as Canada’s “Castle in the Rockies,” made it easy for them to bring their fairytale winter wonderland theme to life!
She wanted a gown that made her feel like a princess, and when she found her “moscato” blush dress from Essense of Australia, she knew it was the one. The lovely blush color ensured she would stand out in the snow, and her look was complete with the most beautiful Andronyk Jewelry and a sparkling tiara for her hair!
It was also very important for their wedding day to be a truly Canadian celebration, so in addition to highlighting the beautiful Canadian Rockies all around them, they also made the deliberate choice to serve Alberta beef tenderloin featuring local ingredients as well as wines from Mission Hill Family Estate Winery in British Columbia!
She and David pledged forever in an intimate ceremony planned by Rocky Mountain Weddings in the gorgeous Angus Room, and their reception highlighted the lovely style they chose of a jewel-toned moody winter romance! It featured lush florals from Willow Flower Co. and rentals from River City Events!
